The new On edge cowl makes for a lovely time spend knitting.
Knitted from the bottom up with a two color stranded knitting motif with intriguing angular lines, artfully presented. Stitches knitted together create a left leaning decrease and a simple stockinette rolled neckline edge finishes up the cowl.
The bottom circumference measures 41" and it is 14" tall. The neckline is 20" around though it stretches being knitted with the stretchy bind off method.
The pattern is fully written and also has a chart for your knitting pleasure.
The knit kits include
- Two skeins of Bambon, a blend of 50% Bamboo/50% Cotton blend in a DK weight in contrasting colors. 154 yards/100 grams a skein.

- US size 9 (5.5 mm) circular needle 20" (51 cm) in length.
- 4 Stitch markers, one being different in color to mark the beginning of round.
- Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge: In the stranded portion- 7 sts and 8 rows in 2" of stockinette stitch. In the single color portion it measures 7 sts and 9 rows in 2" of stockinette stitch.
Techniques applied: Knitted in the round, color changes, stranded knitting, decreases, stretchy bind off, weaving in ends and optional blocking. The sample as shown was left unblocked.
