The foliage shrug offers pure comfort, color and an absolutely beautiful Diamond rib stitch pattern along both sleeves that remind us of pretty leaves, hence the name.
It is knitted in the round and flat and that rib pattern carries on up from the sleeves all the way on to the middle of the body and right back down to the opposite sleeve. Even though it is a shrug you can still wear it a few ways, as a scarf or cowl even.
Actually, I started out knitting a cowl with the beautiful stitch pattern, then I thought hm, this would make a great shrug and...here you have the all new Foliage shrug. I love it! You can also find the cowl knit kit below, in case you like to knit the set.
The pattern is fully written, includes a how to video link and also has a chart for the stitch pattern.
There are two sizes to knit to make it easy. The Medium size fits 34/36/38/40" in bust circumference, the Large size fits 42/44/46/50". You can totally amend the fit to allow for wider or longer sleeves and more middle height. Extra skeins are available.
